Peraturan produk elektrik dan elektronik di Korea Selatan.

Electrical Appliances Safety Control Act bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengendalian keamanan mengenai pembuatan dan penggunaan peralatan elektronik dan listrik, dan untuk memastikan persyaratan keselamatan sesuai dengan standar internasional. Peraturan terkait standar kualitas peralatan elektronik di Korea tercantum dalam Electrical Appliances Safety Control Act yang terdiri dari (lampiran dapat dilihat di file berikut):

Sertifikasi Quality Assurance (Q-mark).diperlukan untuk menjamin kualitas produk yang mempunyai label Q-mark, telah diuji menurut Korea Electric Testing Institute (KTC) dengan standar uji jaminan mutu yang ditujukan untuk meningkatkan mutu produk dan melindungi kepentingan konsumen.

2. Switches for Electrical
Appliances

a.	Switches for electrical appliances

(1)	General switches (micros-witches, rotary switches, lever switches, push pull switches, automatic recovery switches, and the like that are used assembled within the devices)
(2)	Cord switches(those that connects to the chord. At most 250V, at most 16A)

b.	Interceptors for the electrical appliances (attached to the inside or the outside of the devices for home and for other similar usage, and used for the protection of the devices)

c.	Electronic switches (those with the rated voltage of at most 300V)

* Remarks) Excludes those that are attached to the machines and devices and that are of special structures and anti-explosion types.

3. Capacitors and filter for
Power

a.	XY capacitors (The voltage between the conductors is at most 500V or the voltage between the conductor and the ground is at most 250V or the resistance capacitors are combined. Serial resistance of the equivalent circuit is at most 1㏀.)

b.	Power filters for controlling the electromagnetic wave hazards(those with the nominal voltage between the conductors of 500V or the nominal voltage between the conductor and the ground of at most 250V)

c.	Capacitors for fluorescent lamps(those for the fluorescent lamps, with the capacity of at least 0.1㎌ and the void power of at most 2.5 kvar)

* Remarks) Limited to those of at most 100Hz.

Connection Parts for
Electric Facilities

a.	Interconnection coupler (Those that connect the electric appliances or other electric devices with power chords and that are with the rated voltage of at most 25V and rated electric current of at most 16A and that have or don't have the grounding pole)

b.	Plugs and outlets (AC plugs, outlets or mobile outlets that have the rated electric current of at most 32A(the rated electric current of the single-terminal fixed outlet is 20A), that have or do not have the installed grounding pins and that are used for indoors or outdoors)

(1)	General plugs and outlets
(2)	Plugs with internal fuses
(3)	Outlets of the devices(Those connected to or combined with the electric appliances. Exclude interconnection couplers.)
(4)	Outlets with internal switches
(5)	Adapters(Combined with at least one plug and at one socket outlet)

c.	Switches for fixed facilities(General AC manual switches with rated voltage of at most 440V, and the rated electric current of at most 63A(the rated electric current of the switches with the terminal and without the screws is 20A).

(1)	General switches (Apply to the switch boxes excluding the inflow boxes of the inflow-type switches, or those of switches with the inflow devices)
(2)	Electronic switches (with rated voltage of at most 250V, and the rated electric current of at most 16A)
(3)	Remote controlled switches
(4)	Time-delaying switches

d.	Cable reels (those with the single-pole rated voltage of 250V, rated electric current of at most 16A, 3-pole rated voltage of 440V and the rated electric current of at most 16A)

* Remarks) Exclude those of anti-explosion type

5. Parts for the Protection of the Electrical Appliances

a.	Small fuses and fuse folder(tube-shaped, ultra-small type, module-type, with the rated electric current of at least 20㎃)

b.	Low-voltage fuses (with the rated electric current of at most 2A, at least 1250A)

c.	Thermal fuses(with the operation temperature higher than 80℃ and 280℃ at the highest)

d.	Breakers for wiring(with the rated electric current of at most 300A)

e.	Leakage current breakers (those with the rated electric current of at most 300A. Those exclusively for leakage pro-tection or those both for the protection of leakage and overload and the protection of combined short-circuit use).
